Ella XC MTB / Rodgers Hideout

EllaXC MTB offers, Cross Country (XC) Mountain biking on your preferred terrain. Choose from a range of packages from beginner to pro on some of the best-known hard tail alloy bike brands, all lovingly maintained to ensure a smooth ride.

XC Ride starts from Ella via jungles, tea plantations, scenic views and remote villages to Rodgers Hideout for a BBQ session with a river bath and transportation back to Ella town. The standard package starts and ends at Rodger’s Hideout. Custom expeditions are available on request.

We recommend that you have some riding experience to ensure that you get the best experience from any of the expeditions. While we endeavor to make every ride, safe and pleasurable.

Ella XC MTB will not take responsibility for injuries sustained on trails. Maximum six pax and minimum two pax. will be accommodate.

Rodgers Hideout is a semi-luxury camping site in a forested area on the banks of Kirindi Oya in Ella. Soothing sounds of Birdcalls & flowing water will help you relax and rejuvenate.

The site can accommodate a maximum up 10 pax on full board basis including 3 to 5 hours trekking / hiking and a BBQ night. Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine will be provide as per requested menu.

Dome shaped camping tents with bedding provided.

The area is rich with a variety of flora and fauna with over 70 species of birds, some endemic & rare, Eight different fish species (allows to touch while feeding them) and many different mammals co habit the area.
